Police parade robbery suspects in Osun
The Osun State Police Command on Tuesday paraded four suspected armed robbers - Sunday Olamiposi, Olumide Ajayi, Ife Michael and
Kamilu Adeoti - at the Police headquarters in Osogbo, the state capital.
The Commissioner of the Police in the state, CP Wale Olokode, while parading the suspects, said they were arrested through police intelligence gathering.
The CP said the suspects have become notorious as they have been terrorising the people of Ilesa and Osogbo for some time before they were apprehended.
He said they were hibernating and planning to launch another robbery attack at Ido-Osun areas of Osogbo when police operatives from the CP’s surveillance team moved in and arrested them at Rinsayo area in Osogbo.
The CP said “Their modus operandi is that, they moved from one house to another with cutlasses raping their female victims.
“Two of them have been identified by some of their victims. They will be charged to court after the completion of investigation”, the CP added.
