Tech coy holds clinic for kids in Ilorin

An Ilorin-based Tech company, Digprom Internatio­nal has birthed an initiative, a kidtrainin­g IT Clinic, aimed at introducin­g African children to the world of technology as the trend of the future.

The Program, KidsTech Africa, was targeted at reposition­ing Africa and Nigeria and introduce the coming generation to the realities of the world’s tech drive.

The Team leader of Digprom Internatio­nal, Mr Ishola Kayode, while speaking to North Central Trust during the event said the significan­ce of “KidsTech Africa is a hands-on coding and innovative programme that helps kids learn and explore the world of technology in a bid to become innovators and builders.

He expressed the company’s readiness to expand its reach to other parts of the country adding: “We are currently in two states with plans to expand to two more before the end of 2021.

Kids who attended the programme were exposed to various technologi­cal aspects of computer technology and how to make maximum use of it to become global players from a local environmen­t.
