Bandits abduct 2 teenage brothers in Kaduna

There was confusion at Doko Area of Rigachikun community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State after some bandits abducted two brothers in the area, Daily Trust reports.

The incident happened around 12:45 am on Thursday when the bandits arrived the community and abducted the victims at their parents’ house.

It was gathered that the bandits shot sporadically to scare residents away before fleeing the community.

A resident of the area, Idris Rigachikun, told Daily Trust that the incident shocked the community because the victims were teenagers.

“They are teenagers and we are all worried we have not heard from them,” he said.

He said the last time bandits attacked the community was about a year ago.

When contacted the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed, said he was at a meeting but will find out the details of the incident.
