25-yearold woman found dead in Jos

The mutilated body of a young woman was found dumped at Rayfield Resort in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The deceased, who was later identified as Francisca Choji, was said to have resided with her family around Gada Biyu axis of Jos North LGA and had left her home on Saturday for an unknown destination before her corpse was discovered on Sunday morning.

A witness said some parts of her body where removed, indicating that she could have been murdered for ritual purposes.

But the spokesperson of the police in the state, ASP Ubah Gabriel, said, “We received a report of a corpse found at Rayfield Resort and no part was removed from the body. The command is investigating the cause of her death.”

City & Crime further recalls that between December, 2021 and January, 2022, two young women were found dead at different locations with their body parts removed in Jos.
