Police nab female drug dealer in Kano
A female drug dealer, Jamila Abdullahi (30), of Kwanar Ungogo Quarters in Kano metropolis has been arrested by the police in Kano State for buying and selling illicit drugs.
Police spokesman in the state, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said the woman was once reported to have been engaged in the acts and that she and her relatives were invited by the command to sign an undertaking not to involve in such acts again.
However, Kiyawa said a team of Operation Puff Adder led by DPO of Ungogo, while on surveillance patrol in the Kwanar Ungogo area, intercepted the said Jamila who was in possession of 35 tubes of rubber solution.
He said, “Credible information received revealed that she is the major dealer of rubber solution that is used for intoxication in Ungogo LGA and environs.
“On investigation, Jamila confessed that she is a widow and that she has been in the business of buying and selling rubber solution for over two years. After her first invitation she stopped, but later continued selling the rubber solution.
“She further confessed that she used to buy the intoxicants from someone. But having learnt about her arrest, the person left the country.”
