Cascador to mentor Nigerian entrepreneurs

Cascador, a programme helping mid-stage African entrepreneurs grow their businesses, has announced the 2022 application opening for Nigerian entrepreneurs.
A statement yesterday, stated that the programme would host 10 entrepreneurs at the Lagos Business School from October 31st to November 4th, 2022 while the application deadline for interested participants is slated for July 1st, 2022.
Commenting on the initiative, CoFounder of Cascador and CEO of Immunext, Dave DeLucia, said the programme is “Preliminary coaching in business fundamentals that precede an intensive week of in-person training, sharing and practice. After the live programme at Lagos Business School from November 1st through 5th, we follow up with six months of postprogramme mentoring and quarterly group learning sessions.”
A faculty member and former MD of GlaxoSmithKline Nigeria, Chidi Okoro, noted that the programme targets midstage entrepreneurs who have a track record of sales and fundraising.
The Dean of Lagos Business School (LBS), Dr Chris Ogbechie explained that the school’s educational approach is grounded in active student participation and the case study method.
He said: “Our goal is to develop business leaders with strong ethics, professionalism and management skills. With a multinational faculty and strong alumni base in the Lagos area, Cascador is an accelerator programme we whole-heartedly support.”
