As a result, her burial had become another subject of controvers­y between the two families over her final resting place.

“The deceased’s family wanted her to be buried in Osun, her home state but that did not go down well with the husband’s family who wanted to properly monitor her burial in line with Islamic injunction­s having converted before her death,” a source in the know confided in our correspond­ent.

When contacted on Thursday, the deceased sister, Pelumi only said ‘she was buried in Ilorin’.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that autopsy had been conducted at the Ilorin General Hospital.

The result of the autopsy, which is expected to be out, in a month time, is expected to resolve the protracted disagreeme­nt over her death.
