Man arrested over car, phone theft in Edo
The police in Edo State have arrested one Destiny Oji (27) for stealing a car and phones.
It was gathered that the suspect was arrested following a complaint from a resident of Ogheghe community in Ikpoba Okha LGA.
The command’s spokesperson, Bello Kontongs, said that on May 14, a resident of Ogheghe community reported to the police that his HP laptop valued at N200,000, iPhone 11 handset valued N500,000, iPhone 12 handset valued at N650,000 and Apple wristwatch valued at N200,000 had been stolen.”
According to him, the victim also said his Toyota Camry car with registration number, BEN 660 NQ, was also removed where he parked it while his room window’s burglary proof was damaged.
Kontongs further said the suspect was cooperating with investigation while frantic effort was in top gear to arrest other gang members.
