Re-election bid: APC committee screens Governor Buni

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has appeared before the All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee for his re-election bid.

A statement by the DirectorGeneral, Press Affairs and Media to the Governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, said Buni appeared before the committee at the Hilton Transcorp Hotel, Abuja.

Mamman said political associates from within and outside Yobe State accompanied the governor to the venue of the screening exercise.

He said Governor Buni was screened successfully for the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

He listed those who accompanied Buni as including the state’s APC chairman, Alh. Muhammadu Gadaka and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alh. Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua.

Others were Honourable Tijjani Zanna Zakariya, Lawan Shettima, Zakariya’u Galadima, Khadijah Abba

Ibrahim, Ibrahim Umar and a former member of the House of Representatives, Gadaka.
