Hubby arrested for threatening wife

A 43-year-old man, Bankole Gbangbalasa, on Tuesday, appeared before an Ijede magistrates’ court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, for assault and threat to his wife’s life.

The prosecutor, Insp Isaac Aminu, told the court that the defendant committed the offences at Igbe Laara area of Ikorodu.

Insp Aminu said the defendant assaulted his wife, Mrs Kehinde Gbangbalasa, threatened her life and caused her grievous bodily harm.

The Magistrate, Mrs G.O. Anifowoshe, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to May 25. (NAN)
