During the throws of the contest, one devoted Laker fan went to new heights to demonstrate just how much love he has for his team. The fan got LeBron James’ face shaved into his head - beard an’ all - with the barber, named ‘newstyle84’ on his Instagram profile, seemingly proud of his handiwork given his caption on the post. “Pass me the clippers and see what I do with ‘em, been going hard in the paint cause that’s all I know,” he wrote. The post, which has received over 1,600 likes, was filled with positive compliments in the comments section for the barber’s artistic design. One person was in awe with the creation, as they wrote: “HOWWWWWWW! the talent!!!”, while another commented: “your work is the best”. The Lakers could reach their first Conference finals since their title victory in 2020 which would spell a remarkable turnaround for the seventh seed who began the 2022/23 season with a dismal 2-10 record. At the age of 38, four-time NBA champ LeBron James remains the Lakers’ talisman, having averaged a team-high 28.9 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. The four-time MVP has followed up an impressive regular season with a so far remarkable showing in his 16th playoff appearance, averaging 22.8 points per game, 10.1 rebounds, and 5.0 assists.
