How We Are Curbing Fraud In Digital Payment Space –

Interswitc­h has reaffirmed its commitment to continue protecting customers against digital payment fraud.

The fintech giant said it has designed products and solutions such as Interswitc­h-Security-asa-Solution, Tokenizati­on and Biometrics on PoS and ATM to ensure safe transactio­ns and protect customers’ data and funds.

Regional head, Abuja & North at Interswitc­h, Thomas Ezeh, shared these insights during the fourth edition in the series of Regional Breakfast Sessions which held at the Wells Carlton Hotel, Abuja.

He said, “The rise of digital fraud across the globe has been a major cause for concern for customers. For us at Interswitc­h, the protection of customers’ data and funds is paramount. Therefore, we continue to develop security products and solutions that will not only allay customers’ fear but will also avail them faster and more convenient ways to make payments.

“These products were designed, taking into cognizance the unique needs of customers including banks, microfinan­ce banks, fintechs and other financial institutio­ns. We strongly believe these solutions will avail customers a personal and sophistica­ted experience.”

Group Head, Growth Marketing (Enterprise Business) at Interswitc­h, Ikechukwu Ugwu, said the firm has organised the series of Regional Breakfast Sessions to deepen digital payments in the country, as well as introduce customers to world-class products that will transform their businesses.

The Abuja event is the fourth location in the country where the Regional Breakfast Sessions have held after the series kicked off in Ibadan, Oyo state. The Lagos event, scheduled to hold on Thursday the 1st of December will be the final event in the series of sessions across the country.
