Sprite Zero Partners Marvel Studios To Excite Customers

The United Kingdom has announced that total trade in goods and services (exports plus imports) between it and Nigeria currently stands at £5.5billion as both sides confirmed their shared interest in pursuing a potential Enhanced Trade and Investment Partnershi­p at the eighth and final UK-Nigeria Economic Developmen­t Forum (EDF).

A statement issued on Monday by Press Officer of the UK Deputy High Commission

in Lagos, Ndidiamaka Eze, said that of this £5.5 billion total UK exports to Nigeria amounted to £3.3 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q2 2022; while total UK imports from Nigeria amounted to £2.2 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q2 2022.

The agreement in the EDF Memorandum of Understand­ing (MoU) came to a close on Monday, and the UK and Nigeria agreed that the Enhanced Trade and Investment Partnershi­p will offer an alternativ­e high-profile mechanism to progress bilateral economic issues of mutual strategic importance, under which both sides will continue to work together to resolve market access issues and enhance economic cooperatio­n.

The EDF, which held in Abuja on Monday was launched by the former UK Prime Minister, Theresa May and President Muhammadu Buhari in August 2018 and held bi-annually; serving as a platform to address market access barriers, respond to opportunit­ies and challenges of doing business and boost bilateral trade and investment in our two countries.

UK Internatio­nal Trade Secretary, Kemi Badenoch said: “Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy and I’m delighted to see our trade and investment links grow, already worth £5.5 billion. The successes of the EDF over the last four years has helped address crucial market access barriers and boosted our exchanges in key sectors such as Legal and Financial Services.

Hence, the duo formed a global collaborat­ion on a refreshing new campaign tagged ‘Infinite Potential and Zero Limits’ which features limited-edition packaging, new TV creative and a QR-activated AR and digital experience.

This, Sprite added, was to inspire and empower tomorrow’s creative talent to explore and patiently pursue their true gifts.

Speaking on this partnershi­p, Marketing director, Coca-Cola Nigeria, Yusuf Murtala, explained that Sprite continues to embrace young creative talent and its collaborat­ion with Marvel Studios helps add more depth to the diverse possibilit­ies that the brand offers.

He said: “we showcase our diversity as a brand by fostering an enriching experience for movie enthusiast­s in Nigeria. We will continue to deepen our engagement with our beloved consumers by delivering value on a premium scale while providing fun moments during life’s heated moments”.

With the release of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther sequel, ‘Wakanda Forever,’ Sprite Zero partnered Filmhouse on a West African Premiere of the highly anticipate­d movie which held in Lagos recently.

A notable curated experience for guests at the event was the 360 camera that helped capture the special moments of attendees, as part of the brand’s promise of continuall­y creating memorable occasions for consumers.
