Play Secret Santa to a Family In Need

There are many families who cannot afford a three-square meal today, not to mention during the Christmas Holiday when food prices and things in general skyrocket. Spread some joy this Christmas season by purchasing a meal or gifts for a family in need.

Volunteer

You can also volunteer via a reverse advent calendar. How do you do that? Begin with an empty box, adding one item of non-perishable food to it every day until Christmas. You can take it to the nearest foodbank, orphanage or charitable group that will get the people in most need.

Host A Neighbourhood Holiday Game

Bring the neighbourly spirit back this Christmas by hosting a holiday games, complete with soft drinks, a meal or Christmas snack. Board games like Draft, Ludo or Ayo will do. Invite neighbours and their children over to play. It is a good way of getting to know your neighbours better.

Bake And Share Holiday Snacks with Others

Growing up my mother bakes or fries chin-chin, a panful of it, sometimes, Kpof-Kpof that she shares with our neighbours. The rest of it is bagged and eaten throughout the holidays season, post breakfast or prelunch time.

Plan a Christmas Caroling Party

Oh! The times have changed. In the past children in a particular building or neighbourhood, or of the Block Rosary group in the Catholic Church, used to plan a repertoire of Christmas songs, they go from one end of the street to the other performing.

Donate. Use Your Economic Power To Provide Relief, Development To Those In Need

The easiest and most obvious way to help people around the world is by giving money to charity organizations or church groups like St Vincent De Paul that specialize in the provision of aid by way of relief materials to the needy all-year-round.

Small And Greet People with A Merry Christmas

A smile goes a long way to brightening someone’s day. We live in a very politically correct world. Spread some Christmas joy by actually reminding people what this season is all about.
