Pantami Commissions

Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, minister of Communications and Digital Economy, on Thursday officially commissioned the Imo State Emergency Communications Centre (ECC), as part of the implementation of the Digital Nigeria project that aims to enhance digital transformation in Nigeria.

The 112 toll-free line which leverages on digital technology is intended to bridge the communication gap between the distressed and emergency response agencies in line with the NEXT LEVEL agenda.

In his remarks, Dr Pantami stated that the ECC centre is in line with the key priority areas of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari led administration, adding that, the centre will improve security, enhance economic development and help in the fight against corruption.
