Nigeria’s ambassador to Malaysia submits letter of credence

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Alhaji Nurudeen Mohammed, has submitted his Letter of Credence to the Head of State of Malaysia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, at his palace, Istana Negara.

The ambassador requested the support of the country while reaffirmin­g Nigeria’s commitment to a bilateral relationsh­ip.

The Ambassador also appealed to Nigerians in Malaysia to unite and be good representa­tives, pledging that he would do everything possible to offer good leadership.

“I promise to work with all of you irrespecti­ve of who you are. Nigeria is our personal identity and we should protect this identity at all times. We’ll do everything possible to assist you to achieve your legitimate goals in Malaysia,’ he said.

Representa­tives of the Nigerian community in Malaysia attended the event.
