Chelsea star, Morata eyes Real Madrid return
Alvaro Morata has admitted he would return to Real Madrid despite being sold by the club less than four months ago. The 25-year-old had two spells at the Bernabeu after Zinedine Zidane’s side exercised their buy back clause in Morata’s Juventus contract. But the Spaniard’s second stint at Real wasn’t a successs.
The Spaniard moved to Chelsea in the summer for £58million and has settled to life well in west London, scoring eight goals in 15 appearances.
But on Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, Morata revealed he would be open to a third spell at Los Blancos.
“Of course, I would return to Real Madrid, but it’s complicated,” Morata told the radio’s main football programme El Larguero.
“I told the coach I wanted to play more. That I wanted to go is foolishness. I felt important for Madrid, but I wanted to play in the Champions League knockout stages.
“I’ve never said a bad word of Madrid nor will I say it. Always I wish them the best. I’m a fan of Madrid but
