President Buhari’s delegation visits Fika over Ciroma’s death
Elder statesman, Mamman Daura, yesterday led a delegation to Potiskum, Yobe State, to condole with the immediate family of the late Mallam Adamu Ciroma, over the death of the former minister of finance.
Presenting the president’s condolence letter to the Emir of Fika, Muhammad Abali Ibn Idrissa, Daura said Ciroma will be remembered for his remarkable service and dedication to the country’s unity and stability.
Daura, who noted that his relationship with the late Ciroma, dates back to 1967, prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and make Jannatil Firdaus to be his resting place.
The delegation also attended the third day Fida’u prayer which was said at the Emir of Fika’s palace.
Other members of the delegation are; Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, Education Minister, Adamu Adamu, Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi, and Ambassador Babagana Kingibe.
