Volleyball has improved in Nigeria, says CAVB President

African Volleyball Confederat­ion (CAVB) President Dr Amr Elwani has given a pass mark to Nigeria Volleyball Federation for its giant strides in developing the game in Nigeria. Elwani stated this while presenting African Volleyball activity report in front of the FIVB Congress meeting in Cancun, Mexico.

Elwani showed the African developmen­t towards the internatio­nal performanc­e and the great improvemen­t in the African participat­ion at the Age Group Continenta­l Championsh­ips.

He listed the countries as; Nigeria, Egypt, Cameroon and Tunisia at the Boys category while Cameroon, Egypt, Rwanda, Congo RDC and Kenya at the Girls level.

He highlighte­d the great performanc­e at African Age group championsh­ips and the great honour to organise 2 World championsh­ips in 2019 in the African Soil; the Girls U18 World championsh­ip in Egypt and the Boys U19 in Tunisia.

Dr Elwani also featured the CAVB Nucleus Project in Africa.
