Firm begins youth empowerment through entertainment

An entertainment firm has begun a programme to identify and showcase the talents of Nigerian youths in the entertainment industry.

The Eagle Team Media on Saturday held the first season of its talent contest for youths in Abuja in the music genres of Duets, Rap, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz and others.

Speaking on the programme, the Managing Director of the firm, Kandi Olatunji, said the show themed: ‘The Next Eagle’ will give the youth a place to channel their energies and do something worthwhile whilst being empowered economically, socially and morally.

“There is a lot to look forward to from this very show; it promises to be one of the most mind-blowing shows and it has reality aspect that will show what actual musicians go through in the industry and equip these talents to face those challenges,” she said.
