Open Grazing Bills

The Lagos State House of Assembly has passed the Value Added Tax Bill, with Speaker Right Honourable Mudashiru Obasa directing the Acting Clerk of the House, Mr. Olalekan Onafeko, to transmit a clean copy to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for assent. The House also passed the bill that prohibits open cattle grazing in the state. The two bills were passed after unanimous votes by the lawmakers at the sitting where the bills were read the third time. Immediatel­y after their passage, the Speaker Right Honourable Obasa commended his colleagues for their passion to see that Lagos State continues to grow. The house had earlier held separate public hearings on the bills, with stakeholde­rs expressing support.

Area which he said will boost the economy of the State. In their separate interviews, three other traders in the Market including Messers Obinna Nwankwo and Iruka Goodness rated the Past-Governors of the State high for their numerous achievemen­ts since the creation of the State thirty years ago, and commended Governor Obiano for all his efforts to see that Anambra is enlisted among the oil producing States in Nigeria. defacing of the environmen­t by flood, reminded the citizenry of the need to always protect Government facilities in their localities. On the forthcomin­g Governorsh­ip election in Anambra State, Chief Ochije Muodilim who is the Coordinato­r of Soludo Support group in the Anambra Central called on Anambra electorate to support the candidate of the All Progressiv­es Grand Alliance Professor Chukwuma Soludo to ensure continuity of the legacy projects of Governor Willie Obiano. He charged various candidates for the election to base their campaign on Issues rather than that of name calling and hate.
