FRSC To Embark On Sensitization Of Tricycle Operators In Anambra On Road Safety Measures
Anambra State Command of the Federal Road Safety commission says it will be embarking on regular sensitization of Tricycle operators on Road Safety measures. The public Education Officer of the Commission in Anambra State Miss Margret Onabe disclosed this in ABS Radio Programme Tonimas half. According to the Public Education Officer of the Anambra State Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, the regular sensitization is very important to all Tricycle operators in order to minimize crashes involving Tricyclists on the highways. She said that one of the cardinal objectives of the Federal Road Safety Commission is to sensitize Motorists on Road safety rules and regulations and charged Road users to always obey Traffic signs in addition to avoiding dangerous overtaking and over loading to reduce Road crashes. Miss Onabe commended the Zonal commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission in charge of Anambra, Delta and Edo States Mr Andrew Kumapayi and the Sector Commander of the Commission in Anambra State Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi for their resilient in ensuring sanity on the highways and called for sustenance. She used the opportunity to advise Motorists to go and revalidate their Drivers license to avoid embarrassment by Officers and men of the Federal Road Safety Commission on duty. Miss Onabe urged Motorcycle operators to always drive with their crash helmet to avoid fatality.
