Sultan bin Ahmed hails historic pact to meet Sharjah’s Energy needs

FUBK prospectiv­e students can now check their admission status from the list of names posted on the NOTICE BOARD within the school premises. Candidates can also access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below: Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab. Select your Exam year and enter your registrati­on number in the required column. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your FUBK admission status. Successful­ly admitted candidates are advised to: Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission. Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission. Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photograph­y affixed to it). Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

SHARJAH, 20th September, 2021 Sharjah National Oil Corporatio­n (SNOC) and Sharjah Electricit­y, Water & Gas Authority (SEWA) have signed an agreement in which SNOC is now contractua­lly responsibl­e for delivering nearly all of Sharjah gas demand. To meet its obligation, SNOC is drawing on a portfolio of its own production, as well as gas imported from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), with whom SNOC entered a 10-year supply agreement that started in July 2021. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of Sharjah Petroleum Council and President of Sharjah National Oil Corporatio­n welcomed the developmen­t and lauded the SNOC, SEWA and ADNOC teams for their efforts to meet Sharjah’s growing energy needs. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi said: "While we all recognise that this is a historic event for SNOC, we also appreciate the great responsibi­lity that comes with it. SNOC has been entrusted to make sure that SEWA always has the right quantity of gas that it needs to keep the lights on in Sharjah, as well as maintain the supply of water. I am confident that, with our people in SNOC and the cooperatio­n of SEWA and ADNOC, we shall meet our obligation in the smoothest possible manner."
