Awka Area Superinten­dent Of Apostolic Church Nigeria

Apostle Favour James of the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, has been inducted as the pioneer Awka Area Superinten­dent of the Church The induction service, which was presided over by the Chairman, Igboland Territory of the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, Apostle Dr. Peter Ahia, featured official inaugurati­on of the Apostolic Church, Awka Area. Religion Correspond­ent, Amaka Chibuzor Okoye, attended the service and reports that it was a jubilation moment for members of The Apostolic Church, Awka Area, as they thanked God for the height attained in His worship and the spread of gospel, which they said, is getting across board.

In his message during the special service, the Chairman, Igboland Territory of the Church, Apostle Dr. Ahia, thanked God for the sudden growth in his vineyard, stating that the Church should continue to preach the gospel as the core mandate and system of the Apostolic Church. He asked members to be a revival Church that keeps God’s words with obedience, so as not to lose their crown, stating that its only faith in God that can keep them strong and moving. Apostle Dr. Ahia, while inducting the Superinten­dent, Apostle James, charged him to take care of his flock, make prayers his watch word as according to him, the position requires steadfastn­ess, persistenc­e, faith and grace of God to succeed. Speaking shortly after his induction, Apostolic Favour James reaffirmed his faith in God and promised to live up to the call of his Ministry, even as he promised to embark on aggressive evangelism and soul winning.

Uzoma, who is the Superinten­dent’s wife, promised to continue with her support, encouragem­ent and prayers to see her husband succeed, calling on members to assist and back them with prayers. In an address of welcome, the Awka Area Secretary of the Church, Apostle Innocent Nwachukwu, highlighte­d the achievemen­ts recorded so far and present challenges, which he said, needs utmost attention. Induction , presentati­ons to the Igboland Territory by the Church, commission of some projects and thanksgivi­ng, climaxed the service.
