Anambra Lawmaker Ibuzo Reaffirms Membership Of APGA, Debunks Report Of Defection
The last may not have been heard about the hyped defection of six members of the Anambra state House of Assembly, as some are coming out bold and openly to debunk the report.
One of such Lawmakers is the member representing Onitsha North Two Constituency in Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon.edward Ibuzo who just spoke to the ABS in an interview. He assured his constituents that he remains an APGA member adding that at no time was he paid any money to decamp. The lawmaker stated that he entered politics as an activist with strong virtues inculcated in him during his seminary days, and urged politicians to be responsible in all their affairs. Meanwhile, Hon Ibuzo has identified responsibility as a tool to increasing ones personal growth. He was speaking at the fifth World Class Brain Ability Exposure organised by Living To Make Impact Foundation, LMIF, at New American Street, Onitsha.
According to him, honesty, responsibility, accountability and fairness are the ingredients of good leadership, stating that the aim of organising such workshops for his constituents was to raise their creative minds towards endless possibilities.
He stressed that the foundation is an industry where people are remoulded for the better as aside training, they are also empowered with start up loans.
Earlier in a welcome address,the Secretary General of the Foundation, Mr.valentino Okoro said LMIF is a mentorship institute,globally accepted in partnership with Global Entrepreneurs Institute, Dover Ohio,usa,liver To Deliver Foundation, Nigeria to impact lives and inspire the desire to succeed in youths. Resource Persons including Engineer Uche Okeakpu gave an incisive presentation on the theme of the program and need for people to aspire to greatest and stop passing over opportunities randomly while the Chief Executive Officer Of Bio Renewable Ltd, Prince Ikechukwu Obioma gave exposure on Biogas where biodegradable can be converted to cooking gas.
The President Of the Foundation, Mr.onyeka Ozoudeokpoko said the Foundation gives opportunity to fifty persons for training in the Biogas recounting the achievement of the Foundation. The members representing Idemili South, Hon Chuka Ezenwune and Awka North, Hon. John Nwokoye were also present during the program. Presentation of Societal Impact award to Dr.lilian Igwegbe of Alpha Eye Clinic and testimonies by youths who benefitted from the Foundation featured during the programme.
