Coollinks partners Konnect Africa, launches Asta satellite broadband

WITH key focus on innovation and quality service, Coollinks.ng recently announced the launch of its new satellite broadband Asta to serve the needs of local consumers while increasing penetratio­n across Nigeria.

According to the World Bank, 10 per cent of rise in broadband penetratio­n generates 1.35 per cent increase in the capita GDP.

In this light, Chief Executive Officer of Coollink, Mr. Shahin Nouri, said his company has partnered Konnect Africa, a company set up by Eutelsat in 2015, to provide fast, affordable and reliable Internet services to consumers across Nigeria. Nouri said his brand would positively impact education through elearning in the country and empower communitie­s through the wifi hotspot.

Also speaking, Senior Technical Manager at Coollink, Abdurrahma­n Mubi, said the service was available and specifical­ly tailored to the needs and demands of Nigerian consumers, adding, “It is affordable, covers the majority of the Nigerian territory and offers features such as speed of up to 20 mbps, data rollover and free night zone.

“We have designed Asta to strategica­lly meet the needs of the Nigerian market and to provide a better satellite broadband experience that is customised for the region.”

Mubi further said Asta was soft-launched in September and fully launched on November 1, noting, “The feedback received from consumers during the soft launch period has been highly positive and encouragin­g. Several clients have already replaced their terrestria­l service with Asta due to the high speed, consistenc­y and reliabilit­y it offers”. With subscripti­on fee as low as N10,000 Asta’s high Internet speed access is available for consumers and enterprise­s across the Nigeria and beyond. Nouri said the brand would benefit companies in virtually every niche, noting, “With premier connectivi­ty and infrastruc­ture, clients will be able to use Asta for everything from small office, home office and enterprise applicatio­ns to complex government solutions.
