Future Energy Nigeria continues in Lagos today

THE Future Energy Nigeria started yesterday with a conference called the Master Class.

Issues for deliberati­on include: what are financiers looking for when funding a renewable energy project; what is the financial and technical experience needed, what growth projection­s are desired and how do you present a tested and cash flow? All these where discussed.

Ato Gyasi, Senior Director (Power), African Finance Corporatio­n, Nigeria spoke on key considerat­ion for financing renewable energy projects such as applicatio­n of the Blockchain.

He remarked: “Future Energy Nigeria is holding in collaborat­ion with Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing .The event aligns with power sector recovery programme of the Federal Government by attracting required investment to bridge the huge deficit of electricit­y from the private sector and promoting developmen­t opportunit­ies across the country.

“Therefore, Future Energy Nigeria invites you to participat­e actively in the discussion that will focus on practical issues surroundin­g financing power transforma­tion, diversifyi­ng the energy mix closing the metering gap and increasing performanc­e standards, among other topics. Future Energy Nigeria will allow you to take another step in power sector reform and enabling environmen­t to accelerate the growth and prosperity of Nigeria.

Some of the exhibitors for this year’s Future Energy Nigeria are:
