Bestmangames Partners Corona School On Financial Literacy

-

AS part of activities to mark their financial planning week, Bestman Games partnered with Corona School Gbagada to equip the students with critical life skills and basic knowledge about financial literacy.

Nimi Akinkugbe, CEO, Bestman Games and an alumnus of Corona School, Ikoyi, gave an enlightening talk on financial management while Leadway Assurance highlighted the features of education insurance and presented exciting gifts to pupils.

A major highlight of the event was the Monopoly tournament played by 60 pupils using the Corona School customized Edition of Monopoly. Winners were presented with the City of Lagos Top Trump Card Game and the Lekki Ikoyi Bridge Jigsaw Puzzle, courtesy of Bestman Games, as well as customized special gifts from Leadway Assurance. In 2015, Bestman Games, in collaboration with Corona Schools Trust Council, developed a commemorative school edition of Monopoly to mark the schools’ 60th anniversary. The edition showcases the history of Corona School, and underscored its unique place in history as the First African School to commission its own customized edition of Monopoly.

Bestman Games looks forward to creating editions for other schools to capture the essence of educational institutions with their unique customs and traditions.
