Abolaji Ajimobi And Fatima Ganduje: Governors’ Kids Set For Their White Wedding Next Month

AFTER a successful traditional wedding between the first son of Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Abolaji Idris, and one of the beautiful daughters of Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Fatima, last November in Kano, arrangements for the solemnisation to seal the marriage proceedings has concluded and it is certain to be grand.

There are indications that the wedding, slated for next month, would hold in Abuja and Kano State. The traditional wedding that held last year is still a talk of the town, as it was a very colourful event, with the ladies looking super gorgeous in their lace and high-grade Ankara outfits.

It was a display of culture and tradition, as the groom’s family were accompanied by the traditional dancers from Oyo and welcomed by the troupes from Kano.

The groom’s family were received by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, whose humongous library was on display in some of the post-traditional wedding pictures.

Ajimobi’s eldest child and daughter, Abisola Kola-daisi, joined her mother and other family members in the culturally stimulating event that had a display of the rich traditions of the northern part of the country.

Other special guests at the occasion include two former governors- Niyi Adebayo (Ekiti) and Christopher Adebayo Alao-akala (Oyo State).
