Overflow Of Joy At Biyi Otegbeye Wife’s Golden Jubilee

ITwas a splendid day for the Otegbeye family last Saturday, January 27, as friends and well wishers gathered to honour Mrs. Comfort Aderonke Otegbeye on the occasion of her 50th birthday.

All roads led to Bariga, Lagos, where the twin events- a church service at the Christ Anglican Church, and a reception at Faith Plaza, were held. The celebrant, who is the wife of the Group Managing Director of Regency Alliance Insurance Plc, Mr. Biyi Otegbeye, radiated joy and beamed with smiles all through the thrilling events, a testimonial of God’s goodness to her and her household.

Marvelous is the apt description of the two-hour church service, encapsulated by prayers for the celebrant, with beautiful rendition of classic Christian songs, a sermon, a Holy Communion and thanksgiving, which climaxed in the singing of a birthday song for the celebrant and Hallelujah chorus.

The Vicar, Venerable Taiwo Olupitan, in his sermon, welcoming the attendees on behalf of the Bishop of Diocese of Lagos West, Rev. James Odedeji, congratulated Mrs. Otegbeye and the Otegbeye family for the auspicious occasion, saying the celebrant was a blessing to the church and the people.

In a short remark, husband of the celebrant, Biyi, thanked God and the clergy for making the service possible and glorious.
