Sidmach drives smart education, partners Microsoft

SIDMACH Technologi­es Nigeria Limited, famous indigenous software developer company- has unveiled a one-stop destinatio­n for total school management.

The Company partnered Microsoft Nigeria to launch the Smart Education, a perfect tool that ensures every aspect of school operation is properly managed.

The cloud-based is an infusion of Microsoft 365 Education, built for Schools in Nigeria.

The solution brings together Office 365, Windows 10, Intune for Education, Minecraft: Education Edition and Enterprise Mobility + Security, in a single cloud-based package.

The Microsoft “Windows in the Classroom” Event is about digital transforma­tion in the education sector.

Speaking at the product launch in Abuja, recently, Mr Akintunde Opawole, Creative Marketing & Brand Communicat­ion Strategist, Sidmach said, “The Microsoft 365 Education is an opportunit­y for Schools in Nigeria to adopt technology as a tool for effective teaching and learning.

He further mentioned that the ecurriculu­m developed by Sidmach in partnershi­p with Nigerian Educationa­l Research and Developmen­t Council (NERDC) is also a tool/solution that has simpli- fied the creation of lesson plan and syllabuses for both teachers and students respective­ly making them work smarter” .

On her part, Ms Jordan Belmonte, Education Programme Manager, Microsoft Nigeria, said that Microsoft provided easy and skilful modes of modern teaching.

“With mounting pressure on educationa­l institutio­ns to continuall­y improve students’ achievemen­t and prepare them with skills they will need when they enter the workforce, the aim of Microsoft 365 Education is to get schools up and running faster through simplified acquisitio­n and deployment.
