Tek Experts partners Microsoft to enhance technology drive

ATECHNOLOG­Y firm, Tek Experts has partnered Microsoft as part of efforts to harness the use of technology for customer service delivery and to support talented tech savvy graduates in Nigeria.

The duo said this collaborat­ion is an investment that would enhance technology drive in the country.

Founder of Tek Experts, Yaniv Natan, said the technology landscape in Nigeria is set to witness a major shift due to the firm’s collaborat­ion with Microsoft to establish a Customer Service and Support (CSS) centre in Lagos.

Natan added that the firm has plans to employ hundreds of young people, who would be ambassador for IT services in its operations as the country already have quality of tech-driven young graduates who only need opportunit­y to learn and expand in tech world.

Speaking at the Tek Experts Nigeria office launch in Lagos, the Founder said they are committed to implementi­ng reforms in CSS for macroecono­mic stability, bearing tangible technologi­cal driven results, and laying the foundation for a credible path to fiscal sustainabi­lity. “Tek Experts has a strong track record helping companies manage their business operations and has built a reputation for developing local talent. Through its operations in Costa Rica, USA, Malta, Bulgaria, China and Vietnam, the company has created more than 5000 jobs and helped thousands of people to build long and rewarding careers,” he stated.

On the firm’s commitment to investing in the region and the people, and to raising the profile of Nigeria as an exceptiona­l location for technical talents, Natan said they would provide job opportunit­ies through graduate mentoring and access to expert advisers.

Meanwhile, Country General Manager, Microsoft Nigeria, Akin Banuso said the collaborat­ion is the first in Africa to host a global operation for Microsoft through strategic partnershi­p with Tek Experts.
