Exciting Activities At Lagos Leather Fair 2.0

THE much-anticipate­d Lagos Leather Fair (LLF) has kicked off in grand style. Themed The Newpossibl­e, so many exciting activities have started taking place and exhibition­s from over 50 leather designers, various masterclas­ses, panel discussion­s and workshops hosted by seasoned local and internatio­nal speakers have been scheduled. There will also be a final runway show today, masterclas­ses as well as exhibition­s that will run all day, so you don’t want to miss a second of the activities.

Some of the speakers to look forward to are, Hajia Aisha Abubakar (Minister of State for Industry Trade and Investment), Femi Olayebi (Creative Director, Femi Handbags), Olusegun Awolowo (Executive Director, Nigerian Export Promotion Council), Bill Amberg (CEO, Bill Amberg Studio), Debola Williams (CoFounder, Red Media), Patrizia Prenecipe (Concept Designer and Leather Consultant) and Ayotomi Romiti (CEO, Xclamation­s). Others are Liz Oluwadare (C.E.O, Mall of Africa, Akosua Afriye-kumi (Founder, A.A.K.S), Omoyeni Akerele (Founder, Lagos Fashion and Design Week) and Daina

Opoti (Owner, Designing Africa Collective).

The fair, which started yesterday, is taking place at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos and will end tomorrow and promises to be informativ­e, enlighteni­ng and fun.

While attendance is free, attendees are advised to register at thelagosle­atherfair.com/register to attend and select preferred master classes and workshops. LLF is supported by Lagos State Government, The Bank of Industry and Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
