Mo Abudu, Davido, Others At Tayo Bolodeoku's Hans And Rene Lekki Launch

-

IT was a launching like no other last Saturday as the high and mighty, including Mo Abudu, Davido and several others, left whatever they were doing to converge on Lenox Mall on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island, Lagos, venue of the launching of the 7th outlet of Hans and Rene, a thriving confectioneries and baking shop from the stable of Tayo Bolodeoku.

The ceremony was the icing on the cake of a wonderful valentinethemed evening of pomp and grandeur, of mesmerising costumes depicting all shades of love imaginable, of love lounges and feasts of photos and cocktails and of captivating music and culinary delights.

The official launch was also used as free give-away and product sampling exhibition, where fans, friends and family converged and were treated to Italian Gelato and sorbet, with some amazing finger-licking foods and drinks to savour their tastes.

The high-octane event kicked off on a stellar note, with rousing musical displays from Nigerian big artistes, who came in their hundreds to thrill Lekki and Victoria Island residents to the grand opening of the one-stop shop for cake and ice creams.

For Bolodeoku, it was dream come true. Her baking business that started like a child's play inside her kitchen on a shoestring capital in 2010 is now a popular brand scattered across the state.

The light-skinned mother of four, in her bid to get better in her craft, travelled to Italy, where she learnt the 'Italian Gelato' and sorbet. Not yet satisfied, she also studied at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in London, where she gained more knowledge in the business.
