INa recent research, Bible Scholars exhaustively analysed the three levels of Demonic activities going on in the world. They did a synthetic analysis of the three levels of Satanic activities of Demonic possession, Demonic obsession and Demonic oppression. The Biblical and Scriptural conclusion and validation is that “the Believer in CHRIST JESUS who is born of God and filled with the Holy Spirit cannot be demon possessed or experience demonic possession. However, as the whole world lies in wickedness, in the power of the Evil wicked one, there is demonic obsession and oppression going on against the believer. The political terrain, the market place and Government circles are heavily infested with demonic agents and activities. However, the Believer has unassailable authority and power to stop and curtail Satanic activities in his domain. James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU.” The Scripture teaches that the devil goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The devil goes about perpetrating evil, always seeking to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10. The Word declares in Isaiah 59:19 “So shall they fear the Name of the LORD from the west, and His Glory from the rising of the sun, when the enemy shall come in like a flood, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD shall lift UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM.” There is a spiritual warfare going on unannounced. 2 Corinthians 2:14 “Now thanks be unto God, which ALWAYS CAUSETH US TO TRIUMPH in CHRIST and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.” Believers are not allowed to go on spiritual vacation from spiritual warfare. We are to constantly WATCH AND PRAY because it was when men slept that the devil came and sowed tares (viruses) against the good seed. Matthew 13:25 “BUT WHILE MEN SLEPT, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.” It is quite clear that the believer who is a child of God must be on guard never allowing Satan and his cohorts operate and perpetrate evil in his domain. There are FOUR CLINICAL WAYS the Devil gains access to the Believer’s domain. We are commanded never to give place to the devil. (1) THROUGH UNFORGIVENESS – Mark 11:25 “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Matthew 18: 32-35 “Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me; Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?; And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the TORMENTORS, till he should pay all that was due unto him; So likewise shall my Heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.” (2) THROUGH EVIL SPEAKING – Titus 3:2 “TO SPEAK EVIL OF NO MAN, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men” Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Psalm 34:13 “Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.” (3) THROUGH OFFENCES – Luke 17:1 “Then said He unto the disciples, it is impossible but that offences will come.” (4) LIVING CARELESS PRAYER LIFE – 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigi- lant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” Today, simply forgive all those who have offended you. Unforgiveness is the express route that Satan employs to afflict believers. Do not give in to offences. Ask the LORD to heal your heart and life from all the hurts that you have experienced.
