ASTUDENT of Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu (LASPOTECH), Abiodun Oluwatobi, is seeking financial support from members of the public to enable him undergo a tibia of the right leg operation.

Oluwatobi was on February 2018 involved in an accident along Alake Estate, Lagos, enroute to campus for lecture. The accident affected his right leg. A Good Samaritan assisted him to Igbobi Hospital where an X-ray examination confirmed a broken tibia of the right leg that would require an operation of about N500,000.

Narrating his ordeal on the sick bed, he said because of the huge sum required for immediate operation, and his mother being a window, the family couldn’t afford the cost of the operation.

“Due to the inability to raise the bill, I was taken to a traditional bone treatment home. The bone doctor billed us N200,000. I was there for close to three months but we could only afford to pay N165,000.”

According to him, after several months with no improvement, he was advised to go for X-ray examination at another hospital, where it was discovered that the bone didn’t join well at a particular spot causing the kneel to stifle and not able to move front and back.

“From there I was taken to another doctor bone who is treating me now. My family don’t have money again to pay my hospital bill. I am begging Nigerians to assist me so that I could walk normal again and continue with my education,” he pleads.

His details are Abiodun Oluwatobi, First Bank, 3080011441 and phone number 08186653646.
