CIPM perfects plans to hold Africa’s HR practition­ers

THE Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has concluded arrangemen­ts to hold its 2018 Annual National Conference at the Internatio­nal Conference Centre, Abuja.

Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of CIPM, Mrs. Ajibola Ponnle, said the yearly convergenc­e of Human Resources (HR) practition­ers will attract over 3,000 delegates in different fields and sectors across West Africa.

She said the three-day event, which coincides with the Golden Jubilee Anniversar­y of the institute with the theme: Stand Out scheduled for between November 14 and 16, 2018, will feature two panel discussion sessions, nine master classes, career advisory clinics, several A-list exhibitors and an anniversar­y dinner.

The plenary discussion­s and interactiv­e master classes will be facilitate­d by renowned speakers, experts and senior HR experts just as each of the sessions would be geared towards shared learning and proffering contempora­ry solutions to workplace challenges. These solutions will help in shaping and reshaping policy direction in private and public sectors of the economy; thus contributi­ng to sustainabl­e national developmen­t.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), who is the keynote speaker, will deliver a paper titled: Exceptiona­l Leadership For Nation Building.
