‘Buhari’s projects unmatched in N’delta’
PRES IDENT Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to the development of infrastructure is clearly visible in the Niger Delta, says the executive director of projects, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Samuel Adjogbe.
The assertion followed recent criticism in some quarters that the Buhari administration had done little to boost the country’s infrastructure.
“With the spate of completed projects so far, one must agree that such commitment to infrastructural development had never been demonstrated before now,” Adjogbe said in Port Harcourt yesterday, after he was honoured for outstanding performance by Prof. Isaac Zeb-obipi of the Department of Management, Rivers State University.
Zeb-obipi said that the gesture was in recognition of the recipient’s contributions to national development.
Adjogbe, who was represented by his Technical Assistant, Nelson Onwo, thanked the organisers of the event for the recognition, adding that the gesture was a call to do more.
