Nosak Group appoints Omogiade MD of Nosak Distilleri­es

THE Management of Nosak Group has appointmen­t Osaro Omogiade as the new Managing Director (MD) of its subsidiary, Nosak Distilleri­es Limited (NDL). This was disclosed in a statement issued and signed yesterday by the management.

Osaro Omogiade is an experience­d Manager in Process Engineerin­g. He is an alumnus of Business School Netherland­s, Nigeria (BSNN) and the Lagos Business School. He holds a first degree on Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Master’s in Process Engineerin­g from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). He is also a member of the Nigeria Institute of Production and Operation Management and has held different positions in major manufactur­ing companies including, production, research/developmen­t, proj- ect and management of operations.

Prior to joining Nosak Distilleri­es, he worked at Henley & Drury Industries as Quality Control Officer and later in 2001 joined NDL as a Production Officer.

Omogiade gradually rose through the ranks and in 2010, he was made the Project and Business Developmen­t Manager, Ghana. Between 2011 and 2018, he served in the capacity of Assistant General Manager and later General Manager. His time as GM was remarkable as the company experience­d growth in the face of economic challenges. On February 4, 2019, he was announced the new Managing Director of the company.

In his former role as General Manager of NDL, he directed the affairs of the company’s growth strategies and actionimpl­ementation.
