Prepare For The Rain

- By Apostle Lawrence Achudume

preparedness, your capacity to handle it without it destroying you.

Our God is the Almighty and He does whatever pleases Him, but He needs you to prepare. You have to do your own part, pray, be empowered by His spirit to mortify the flesh, and make commitment of service. Simply put, put your life in order and in line with His purpose. Renew your covenant, and be daily filled with the Holy Spirit, etc.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Hosea 10:12.

The outpouring of God comes to prepare the land for productivity and harvest. To break up your fallow ground is to repent of whatever can hinder your blessings. Clean up your life and heart and humble yourself in prayers just like the various process the farmer uses to break up a fallow ground.

When God sees that we have done our part, He releases the rain for our harvest.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 1 Peter 5:6.

Sometimes, we step aside after we have done what we ought to do and let Him do what He knows best.

If you want to achieve your dreams, prepare for it. Don’t assume; plan and pray your plan through.
