Biafra Day Celebration: Youth Councl Demands Second Aburi Accord

Wants Presidency, Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB To Dialogue

- From Nnamdi Akpa Abakaliki

OHANAEZE Ndigbo Youth Council, yesterday, proposed a second Aburi Accord, saying there was urgent need for healing of past wounds and distrust that had lingered 50 years after the Biafra War ended.

OYC also pleaded with the Presidency to dialogue with Nnamdi Kanu- led Indigenous People of Biafra and other Biafra agitators, appreciating their legitimate role to exploit all peaceful and non- violent activities to expose the pains of old Eastern Region.

In a statement in Abakaliki, the National President of OYC, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro said the second Aburi Accord meeting will help to address the old wound, insisting the First Aburi failed because of proponents of anarchy, who were blinded by selfish desires.
