TOkeep all undesirable elements away from the Nigerian polity at all tiers of Governments in the country, aspirants nursing to be standard bearers of all political parties in Nigeria in the next political dispensation will face the profiling of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria ( CIFCFEN).

The new arrangement which is under the umbrella platform of all political parties in the country, the Inter Party Advisory Council ( IPAC) is to also assist parties present candidates with less chances of petitions which may lead to the party loosing the position after election at the tribunals or court due to their past profiles.

President of the Institute and Chairman in Council of CIFCFEN, Iliyasu Gashinbaki who disclosed the new plan in an exclusive interview with The Guardian said the plan is already at an advanced stage and in line with their vision of sanitizing the landscape. The implication of this is that the era of impunity in the selection of candidates for political parties by godfathers may be coming to an end as only certified aspirants by the institute would qualify to be fielded.

The decade old association seeking recognition as the regulatory body in Nigeria for forensic practice had it’s bill scale second reading at the House of Representatives last week with anticipation of a positive concurrence at the Senate later.
