Nigeria’s Enabulele Elected Into WMA Committee

EDostate- born medical practition­er and former president of the Nigerian

Medical Associatio­n ( NMA), Dr. Osahon Enabulele, has been re- elected as Chairman of the Socio- Medical Affairs

Committee/ Executive Committee member of the World Medical Associatio­n ( WMA).

Enabulele, a Chief Consultant Family Physician and President of the Commonweal­th Medical Associatio­n ( CMA), was unanimousl­y re- elected for a second term as chairman of WMA’S SMAC during the 217th Council Session of the associatio­n, attended by delegates from over 50 countries held in Seoul, South Korea on April 22. This followed his nomination by representa­tive of the German Medical Associatio­n, Dr. Ramin Parsa- Parsi, who stated that he had dutifully executed all his previous responsibi­lities with distinctio­n.

SMAC is one of the only three standing committees of the WMA.
