Oyo Community Sends SOS To Makinde, Council Chief

Don’t Rest On Your Oars, PFN Tells Makinde

-

RFrom Rotimi Agboluaje, Ibadan ESIDENTSOF Alatare Community, Ologuneru, Ibadan, have called on Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, to ensure easy access into the community of over 5,000 residents.

The plea was conveyed through a letter to the governor entitled: ‘’ Letter of Consideration for Assistance towards the construction of a motorable bridge in Alatare Community, Olonde, Ibadan’’.

The Chairman of the community, Mr. Abu Rafiu, explained that a large natural stream flowing across the community has been ravaging the community, destroying residents’ properties and slowing the community’s development.

He, therefore, appealed to the governor and the Chairman, Ido Local Council, Alhaji Shereef Adeojo, to use their good offices to come to their aid. Rafiu urged them to, as a matter of urgency, construct a standard motorable bridge and drainage that would help them move easily into their community.
