Industrial pharmacist­s seek self- sufficienc­y in drugs production, hold 24th national conference

WORRIED about the current national and internatio­nal economic turbulence that has crippled many businesses, the Associatio­n of Industrial Pharmacist­s of Nigeria ( NAIP) will from tomorrow Tuesday ( July 13) to Friday ( July 16), 2021 hold its 24th Annual National Conference ( ANC) at the Lagos Marriot Hotel, GRA Ikeja to brainstorm on achieving selfsuffic­iency on medicines in Nigeria.

The theme of the conference is ‘ Technologi­cal Revolution­Adaptation in Industrial Pharmacy Practice’.

NAIP National Chairman, I. K. Anukwu, in a statement, said the keynote address would be delivered at the opening ceremony on Wednesday by the Industrial Pharmacy Section ( IPS) President of the Internatio­nal Pharmaceut­ical

Federation ( FIP), Sola Solarin.
