Firm to train 1000 Nigerians on digital, technical skills
AFIRM, Elev8, is set to train 1000 Nigerian business owners in digital and technical skills.
Country Head, Elev8, Ashim Egunjobi, said while information technology ( IT) drives innovation, the firm is committed to helping to equip IT specialists, business managers, and leaders in over 1000 companies to upskill and reskill by 2020.
She said this was to make them the beneficiaries to comprehend, adapt and implement technological advancements and tools in a variety of ways to increase the value chain and grow the economy.
She stated that businesses across all sectors are accelerating the adoption of technology and digitalisation to establish a competitive edge, drive growth and ensure efficiency.
According to her, Nigeria’s workforce has to be technologically educated, trained and upskilled as the coun - try strives to stay up with the rest of the globe.
Egunjobi noted that Elev8 seeks to work with govern - ment, technology organisations to provide skilling initiatives to the population and talents by equipping participants to be success - ful in the tech space.
