Kano Assembly summons suspended anti- graft boss

KANO State House of Assembly, yesterday, invited the suspended chairman of the Public Complaints and AntiCorruption Commission, Muhuyi Rimin- Gado, to answer questions on a petition filed against him by the state’s accountant- general.

The Assembly had, last week, directed the embattled anti- graft boss to proceed on one month suspension as it constituted an ad hoc committee to investigate the allegation against him in the petition.

In a letter signed by the Deputy Director, Legal Services at the Assembly, Abdullahi Bature, the suspended chairman was directed to present himself before the committee today by noon.
