Came With ‘ A Troupe’

STILL on the Lasgidi shindig for Lancelot at 50, the organisers almost ran out of food and drinks, because the actor and politician Desmond Elliot didn’t attend the shindig alone. The Honourable Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Surulere 1 constituency stormed the shindig with ‘ a troupe’ of gaily - dressed youths.

A busy body later clarified that the folks that came with the amiable actor were members of his constituency. One busy body was afraid that food and drinks might not go round with ‘ the additional mouths’ that the Honourable came with. But we checked and can confirm that there was enough to drink and eat at the shindig.
