Andy Best Shows Up At Surprise Shindig For Lancelot Imaseun
THE Lagos party to honour notable Filmmaker Lancelot Oduwa Imaseun at 50 tagged ‘ Lasgidi Friends of Lancelot Celebrates’, held at 17 Modupe Johnson
Crescent Surulere, Lagos, was not only lit but star studded. It featured a lot of surprise guest appearances and each time the surprise guest made their entrance into the well laid out bar run by the filmmaker and award- winning scriptwriter Chidi Nwokeabia, they will be welcomed by a loud yell.
One of the surprise guests at the party where food and drinks flowed freely that got the loudest and sustained yell was foremost marketer Chief Andy Okechukwu Nnadi aka Akudinanwa Andy Best. The unassuming Chairman of Andy Best Electronics, an outfit that has produced and marketed uncountable movies in the industry, got a rousing welcome as he walked in, dressed in a simple black t- shirt on trousers.
“He hardly attends industry events; only a personality like Lancelot can drag him out like this,” declared one busy body to the hearing of this wakapass.
And when it was time to acknowledge his presence, notable actor Charles inojie who anchored the event couldn’t find words enough to describe the very humble Andy Best. Notable works by Andy Best Electronics include War Without End, Idemili, For My Heart, Royal Calabash, Egg of Life and Snake Kingdom.
