CON SOLID AT ED Hallmark Insurance ( CHI) Plc has renewed its commitment to grooming talents for the insurance industry through its yearly essay award.
Speaking on the subject, the Group Managing Director of the company, Eddie Efekoha, said competition was part of the company’s contribution to the overall insurance industry’s awareness campaign as well as honing talents for the sector.
The competition, he said, was introduced based on the insurer’s belief in developing talents and expanding the industry knowledge through research.
He commended the assessors for adhering to high standards that have ensured that the bests emerged winners over the years. The overall best and first prize winner of the 2020 edition was Olatunji Rebecca of Joseph Ayo Babalola University. She was followed by Obikwere Victor from Imo State University, while Oyefejo Olaseni from Lagos State Polytechnic finished third.
The Director- General, Nigerian Insurers Association ( NIA), Yetunde Ilori, urged the winners to make their success the least of their life achievements and appreciated the firm for being a source of inspiration to others.
